These production methods are so cruel that they have been outlawed in Europe.

Unfortunately, no laws protect calves from the inhumane practices which are used to produce veal in the United States, despite widespread popular opposition to this cruelty. Therefore, it is up to conscientious establishments such as yours to address this issue.
